Another first for me....

I had a Pepperment Hot Chocolate with Skim milk from Starbucks this morning.

We had a vendor who was buying and insisted that there had to be something at Starbucks that he could buy for me. I have never ordered anything from Starbucks although I have been to one in Las Vegas with friends. As for the drink I got, lets just say that I've better hot chocolate from the small independent shop by my son's trumpet teacher. And it definitely doesn't hold a candle to the cocoa my DH makes.
My admin asst says I should have gone for a caramel steamer - whatever that is.

So, tell me what your first trip to Starbucks was like or tell me about your best trip to Starbucks. Or who is better than Starbucks in your opinion.

I'm not all that impressed with Starbucks. In Halifax you're better off at The Second Cup. My fave drink from The Second Cup is the White Hot Chocolate. Mmmm, yummy.

I have not long discovered Starbucks, and I am totally hooked on the Grande Latte's. For someone that doesn't like coffee this is an achievement..lol Although I can honestly say I haven't tried anything else of theirs yet - Maybe I will stick to my latte's :)

*Hugs*

I don't like Starbucks. The coffee smells burnt, and the one or two I've actually tried to drink tasted burnt, too. (And what's with the grande-venti-maximo machismo sizing?) If I'm getting coffee from a chain store, I'd rather have Dunkin' Donuts coffee, or Caribou Coffee.

Don't remember when I first went to Starbucks; sometime in high school. It was in the only place in my little town that was open past 8pm so when I was 16/17 that was the place to be on a Friday or Saturday night (I know, sad, but it was a small boring town). I like the white chocolate mochas and the cinnamon dolce lattes but usually just get coffee with sugar free vanilla since it's a ton cheaper. My favorite chain, though, is Coffee Bean; their white chocolate dream is sooooo good.
