But I thought I was an ENTJ?

So I took the Briggs Meyers test again this weekend and I came out as an ENTP instead of my usual ENTJ. The difference? Instead of being a field marshall (looking for leadership and dying to be in charge), I'm an inventor (lots of ideas, always wanting to share, can't believe that everyone else isn't as excited).

I can see how I vary between these two depending on the mood. Maybe I'm an Inventive Field Marshall - who sees the strategy but knows there is something better out there.

I want to really thank you for this blog entry. You know I just recently figured out what I wanted to be when I grew up, but I have been worried I wouldn't be very good at it (you know those old insecurities)...

I had never taken the Briggs Myers test, so I googled it and tried it out, and I came up as an ISTJ, and I read the profile, and it mostly fit pretty well and then it said that I would fit well into professions that are close to what I want to do (because seriously, how many sites are going to put "animal facility director" as a recommendation for future career paths?). I feel so much better... and it was fun to read about the different personality types and stuff.

And what's funny, is that after taking the test and reading about my personality "type" it said stuff about me that other people say about me all the time (mainly, I can be "cold") and explained the perceptions, which is pretty cool.

You're welcome! By the way, DD found a small private zoo by the college campus to volunteer at this school year.
