I'm not a spring chicken anymore...(according to the RPT)!
Today the physical therapist told me to stop being so impatient, it’s only been a month and it’s not like I’m 18 anymore. It seems that 40 something women do not recuperate as fast as I think I should. The back-story…At the end of June, a semi-truck dropped part of its load on the freeway in front of me. In trying to avoid the chunk of steel with rebar sticking out of it, the car spun out and I hit the interior concrete divider. For the last month, I’ve been in pain. My neck, back and shoulders are miserable and I’ve been getting headaches continually and lifting anything over 10 pounds is next to impossible. House cleaning isn’t possible and I’m getting tired of not being able to do what I usually do. The DC told me that it will take 3-4 months to get back to normal, I figured he was just stringing me along trying to run up the bill. But to hear it from the physical therapist too? Maybe they’re right and I just need to take it easy, but then who would do all the work that I need to do?

I'm sorry to hear you're not doing too good. It's a horrible feeling not being able to do routine stuff (I was unable to leave the upstairs of my house for a month after a freak dodgeball accident--no kidding!)
Here's to you getting back to normal quicker than 3-4 months!
